EDUCATION

The Seldoms is comprised of artists and educators who introduce the performance work, dance technique, and artistry in inventive, focused ways to better connect with audiences, students and communities. We are dancer-athletes, thinking artists, generous facilitators, research fanatics, and dialogue promoters. We build movement that aims to communicate big ideas and subtle distinctions, that comes from a foundation of anatomical understanding and modern/contemporary techniques, and contains our 25-year history of making performance. We've appeared at forums for arts, education and the humanities throughout Chicago at the Newberry Library, the Poetry Foundation, the Chicago Humanities Festival and others. We open our weekly company classes to community dancers. Join us!
