The Waning Hours (2006)

An early version of The Waning Hours premiered at the Other Dance Festival in 2004. The original dance examined the saturated space surrounding a person's death as felt by those closest to the patient. In the expanded version, the choreography attempts to portray the end of a life from multiple perspectives: the view from the end of one's life, gazing back across individual moments and broad sweeps of time, and the view at the beginning of one's journey of dying, traveling further and further from the confines of body.
