Damon Demarcus Green

Damon began his dance training at the age of 15. His training began in Champaign/Urbana, where he attended the Christine Rich Dance Studio and also took classes at the local park district, studying mostly ballet and jazz.

After relocating to Chicago he continued his dance education at Columbia College, and began to study modern dance and African as well. In the city Damon was introduced to vogueing, an urban dance form that was brought in to the mainstream by Madonna (though not displayed there in its full expression and force).

Damon has a naturally strong, athletic body that shows in his movement, and an exceptionally strong upper body that allows him to scale 30' tall steel beams in under 6 seconds (see garage dances).

When Damon is not training in the gym or a studio, he is working at one of the finest retail stores in the nation, fulfilling his passion for fashion. He sells new clothes, but for himself, prefers vintage – a recent find was an Oscar de la Renta silk necktie!

He is the unofficial resident master stylist for The Seldoms, helping to style garment and hair for both photo shoots and performance.
